Battle Pope was the first comic I ever worked on. More specifically, Battle Pope: Shorts #2, which was recently reprinted in full color as Battle Pope #9.

Benito Cereno and I did a one-page bit for the Tick 20th Anniversary Special. It ships in April and is in the current Previews catalog.

*marvel team-up #14 joke

I just read that Ennis and Robertson's "The Boys" got shit-canned by DC. I hope it finds a new home soon.

I apologize that the sketches have been a little weak lately.

I wanted to say thanks to everyone that's taken the time to have a look at this blog and especially those who've taken the time to leave comments. I'm sorry that some of your comments/questions have been left unanswered and I'll do my best to go back and leave some replies. If I don't get back to you, though, and you've got a genuine question or comment you'd like a reply to, you can always contact me through e-mail by sending a message to corenthal at gmail dot com.

Today's pickins are pretty slim, but I'm a little busy today and can't really devote too much time to sketching. Anyway, today's subject is a silly twist on the best superhero comic in the universe. Enjoy it, it's for you.

Kirkman, Hester, Parks and Crabtree's Irredeemable Ant-man is a fantastic book that not enough folks are cheking out. I'm not just saying so because Kirkman is like a sister to me, either. I genuinely feel that way.

Not much today, because I've got stuffs to do.

I wish I drew in a more Punisher-friendly style, because one thing I'd LOVE to be able to do is draw an arc of a Garth Ennis-written Punisher comic. Every week that Punisher comes out is like Christmas, and when Goran Parlov was illustrating the Barracuda arc, it's was like double-Christmas.

Speaking of Parlov, I'm REALLLY looking forward to the Barracuda mini, but I hope he returns to the Punisher afterwards. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

A sketch or page of sketches a day. That's the plan. I don't usually have much to say, but I'm sure I'll blab about one thing or another now and again.

Vigilante and friends to kick things off.
