this choice of character reflects poorly on you cory, do more wolverine and batman post haste! My patronage of your blog is at stake here! Don't dissapoint me.
haha, wow, controversy over this one. I'm not a liefeld fan, but I have to abmit I have a soft-spot for Cable, your marvel team-up with wolverine/cable was amazing. I'm just wonder what made u draw this fellow.
The opposite of love is not hate, but apathy. If you truly hate Liefeld and his work, there's no point in going around the Internet and talking shit. All you do is keep his name in the ring.
Nice sketch, CW. I second the notion of an, um, Prophet sketch. Or Chapel. Or Bedrock/Badrock -- you could knock that bitch out in two secs.
Dude, all I know is that when I was a tike. I frickin' loved Die Hard. A robot that threw his shield Captain America style? Awesome. But, now I kind of chuckle at it.
Great sketch. Funny character choice. And here is to hoping that you draw Bloodshot or Prophet or something.
I just want to say that I've never even read a comic with Diehard in it, unless he was in WildC.A.T.s #4 with the rest of Youngblood. I know nothing about the character other than the fact that he wears his utility belt on his thigh, and that amuses me. I have no opinion of the character beyond that. Not every post will be of your favorite characters. Complaining will only lead me to draw worse characters to spite you. ;(
Thanks for looking everyone. I appreciate your comments and kind words. This blog wouldn't be nearly as rewarding if I wasn't getting the feedback that you all provide. Chill out and enjoy it, it's supposed to be fun.

Never liked this character much, but your interpretation is off the chizz-arts, Cory! Very cool...
I like the drawing ok, but man, what a shitty character to sketch. Blech.
I forgot to mention, thanks for not squaring off his toes, Cory.
:-D
Is he a Skrull under the mask????????
Liefeld week...?
Nice drawing, who cares what character is or where it comes from?
Yeah nice drawing but it needs some rocks on the ground to cover the feet.
Ha! Diehard. I had nearly purged my memory of Liefeld's exxxxxxtreme-verse.
Do Prophet next!!
Live Free or...
YESSSSSS!!!
I guess I stand alone here...awesome sketch AND cool character.
Don't be hatin'. DIE HARD FOREVER!
Rob Liefeld is a bit of a twat who is a shit artist too IMO. Please no more from that guy unless you are taking the piss.
Great job.... this is... who... DIEHARD...?
I vaguely remember him.

For the record, this sketch is awesome. My previous comment may have been somewhat ambiguous, but I assure you, it was praise.
I just keep going back to how awesome those hands are. This is another great sketch.

Sure you've read a comic with Diehard in it, silly. He fought SuperPatriot in Dave Johnson's first limited series.
Great memory, kid!
D'oh! I really don't know why that slipped my mind, but WildC.A.Ts didn't. That's sad.
It really IS.
