I was never really that into Street Fighter as a kid, I had the Street Fighter 2 Special Champion Editon for my Sega, but I was more of a Mortal Kombat kinda guy. What I'm trying to say is that I don't know why I like to draw Chun Li and Cammy so much. Huh.

I've never double-checked, but I'm fairly certain you're a dude, dude.

Who cares why? It looks amazing and that's all that matters.

P.S. I have never owned a SF game.

Because they are both awesome and your brain secretly knows that. Then your hand, in cunjunction with your brain, makes them even awesomer. Then I see it, a thought pops into my head and I say, "Man, that's pretty frigging awesome!"

I really should be sleeping...

I look like a hardcore fan coming here and posting each day, but I can't stop feeling amazed for your drawings, this one made me stop looking at it for 2-3 minutes.

And besides, the street fighter girls were waaaay better characters than anything mortal combat dished up.

Dear Cory Walker,

Street fighter left an indelible impression on young girls because there were clearly defined typified characters for them to identify with. So, girls would grow up with the thought in mind that they would someday like to be akin to Cammy (unlikely) or Chun Li (more likely), rather than Kitana (Maskface, what?). Hence, a generation of women who would respond more strongly to images of Street Fighter chicks, even if Mortal Kombat was the sweeter game.

Personally, your drawings of Galatea elicit the strongest response from me, because of the haircut and the panties.

But, then again, what do I know? I played Monkey Island.
