I love the kinetic energy in this pose, and as always, the way you make the placement of your blacks looks so easy and effortless. best blog ever my friend.

"..way you make the placement of your blacks looks so easy and effortless.." Yeah I need to practice that too! I'm not familiar with this character?

That's one of the New Gods characters, right?

I think I recognize him from that old Mignola Cosmic Odyssey series from years ago.

Good stuff.

Oh my god, I remember this guy. It was from a Mignola DC graphic novel.

Help me out, Cory, what was it called? Cosmic Oddesy or something? I know that Batman was in it too.

Wow, the Forager again, eh?

I remember this guy from that great Mignola drawn tale of yore, Cosmic Odyssey. I'd never see the guy before that book and haven't since, but seeing him drawn by Mike was a treat. Now, fast forward a number of years to your great sketch, Cory. Definitely a more than worthy attempt by a great artist!

I really like the pose as well.

His Midsection has a great weight to it.

Yes! Forager.

Neil- Yep. Though Cosmic Odyssey was my first exposure to the character, he was around way before that. There's a reason you haven't seen him since Cosmic Odyssey, though. I'm sure you can figure it out.

Thanks for the compliments and thanks for looking, everyone.
