I just read Destroyer #3 and just like McDonald's; "I'm lovin' it!" This is quite possibly the bloodiest comic I've read in a long time. However, the fate of Organite was kind of anti-climactic. Sorry.
This series keeps getting better and better. It's almost sad to see the badguys get killed; you have some great designs (loved the skull-themed weapons). Can't wait for the next issue!

*grin* Coupla people have beaten me to it, but I'm Ursula Vernon, the artist who originally (long ago and far away!) created the pear with teeth that went on to internet memedom. I just found out today about its appearance as a toy in issue #3 of Destroyer, and once I stopped laughing like a lunatic, I wanted to come over and thank you. (One of my readers sent me a link over here.) I've been an obscure webcomic artist for five or six years, and never expected to see anything of mine in a Marvel comic, even by such a bizarre roundabout fashion, so I was very amused.

Hello, Mr Walker, I was coming here to talk about the pear too, and I see I've been beaten to it.
So the so-called "Lolwut Pear" comes from a painting by Ursula Vernon, called "the biting pear of Salamanca.
Incidentally Ms Vernon is totally delighted to see her pear appear in a Marvel comic, as she says in her blog :
