This isn't going to become a regular thing or anything, but it was recommended that I do "Batgirl Thursdays," and I had a thought to do a sort of companion piece to the Supergirl I posted yesterday. It didn't really work out as well as I had hoped, but thems the breaks.
I realize it's more than a little Batman Beyond-y, but shut up.

dude, this is awesome! I'd be psyched if you did batgirl thursdays, especially if they were this badass-- babs could take a hint from cassandra cain on the "look at my red hair, you guys! I'm so identifiable!" costume design front.

This is a really nice take, I like the way the orange of the wing/cape picks up the visual slack by filling in for the red hair that we are used to seeing on Batgirl designs. I really don't see too much of a Batman Beyond take other than the belt. As always, beautiful work and thanks for sharing it.
Oh, and Mr. Monster's costume is already perfect, J-ay.
