SDCC 2010
I suppose you're wondering why I called this meeting. I just wanted to let you cool dudes and cool lady dudes know that I will have table space at SDCC this year! I will be doing some sketches and selling things like mugs, t-shirts, original art, ceramic figurines, and most importantly, a sketchbook! That's right! With the help of Rico Renzi and INDIGO INK, I have finally put together a sketchbook to sell. $__$
I have a table at the Image booth, you guys.
I will look like:
or
I haven't decided yet.
Anyway, here's the line art for the cover of my sketchbook. Yes, she is farting and waving it away with her hand, so you can keep your clever remarks between you and your mother.
Rico colored this for the cover, and it's awesome. Buy one and find out. My kids need shoes.
Love you all. See you in Sandy Egghole!

if you have any left over would you be willing sell one to those of us who can't make it out?
I'll consider it.
Honestly, though, I printed 300, so I'll likely only have 230 or so left after San Diego.
Any chance that you sell it by ebay, or amazon, or anyplace that we interneters can find?
oh man, this is easily going to be one of my first stops at con. how much are each going for? and how much for a commission sketch?
Man, you gotta hook those of us that can't make it there up!
Pleeeeeeeease
I'm with everyone else, there totally has to be a way for those who can't attend the con to snag a copy of the sketchbook!!
Mr. Walker, can you please make this available on your blog just like Ryan Ottley made his sketch book available on his website? Pleeeeeeease.
Thanks for showing interest, guys!
As I said, depending on what I've got after San Diego, I will make them available to you guys.
Kris- Sketchbooks will probably be $10, maybe $15-20 with a quick sketch in the back. I haven't decided how much my con sketches will be
Is my money no good, Walker? I want wanna those thangs.
Print more, pretty please :)
Which table/booth will you be at?
I am one of those crazy guys with only an job and money to spend on awesome sketchbooks, but unable to travel to to California.
You've got to sell those things to us normal folks. You're art is that sweet shit we need to keep going.
Sharing the sentiment that- while I hope you sell out- I also hope you'll have some leftovers for us sad, pathetic souls that can't make it to SDCC this year ~<3
Hey Cory!
This is Gregor. Jack always talks about your blogness, but I hadn't checked it out until today. I figured it would be internet ramblings like everyone else does(myself included) but THIS is great!
I can't wait to buy one of your sketchbooks at the con. See you there man!
This is relevant to my interests...
Soooo any chance we would ever see an Invinigirl comic/story/team up????
(sorry if this has been addressed before)
I need one also Cory
Anthony from Berea
If the sketchbook is half as good as this blog, you will have an angry mob with forks and torches at your comic-con cubicle if you don't print enough copies for all of us.
I just say it.
Hi! I'm a long-time fan of Mr. Walker's. I'm also a fan of Travis Charest, Steve McNiven, Dustin Nguyen, Adi Granov, John Byrne, Art Adams, Leinil Francis Yu and Khoi Pham.
Once, in a similar situation, I made an offer to go to the local comic show, and purchase on behalf of the countless fans around the world who couldn't make it, and buy Travis Charest sketchbooks. As long as people were willing to pay for the packaging and shipping, I'd send them out.
Being a fan, I know what it's like to want the opportunity to buy a sketchbook, but not being able to.
You'll need a trustworthy representative. And you'll probably want to work it out with Cory, too. Travis was aware of the situation, (because he had a limit of 2 per person) and was willing to accomodate the fans from his website/board. So Cory would have to be willing to sell however many to the representative. (*fortunately, the publisher of the travis book pulled the allotted amount before the show for the website fans, and sent them out; so no representative was needed.)
just a suggestion.
due to the down economy, alas, i'm in the same boat, and cannot go to SDCC. if any books are left after the show, i'd like one as well. please keep us all posted.
have a great time!

A big thank you for doing that Invincible sketh for my friend Christian and Cystic Fibrosis! Can't wait to see how much it brings in for a terrific cause!
You're tops!
first time coming, very nice drawings. It's good to see that the old pencil is still used by someones.
The picture you put up is of 2 different guys. Also I'm buying a copy of your sketchbook.
Your sketches are very solid, yet expressive. Do you use reference? If so, how do you "plus" the drawings to make em sing?
